Did we follow the best evidence during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially with respect to the most damaging restrictions on freedom of movement, association and economic activity? How did Sweden do so well, avoiding many such restrictive measures? Did we ignore the beneficial effects of natural immunity, to our peril, and did we impose medical interventions when they were not absolutely necessary? Were my efforts to share evidence-based information effective, correct and, possibly, should have been included in local policy-making?
